I've been at Sabre for 6 months, after 8 years as a full-time church musician. I was nervous about the transition to Finance as it is a very different field. Working at Sabre has helped ease those fears. My team has been patient as I further develop my skillset! My role is crafted to my strengths.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The best part about my compensation package is the PTO. I also think the insurance offered and 401k match is wonderful.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team is young and energetic. They are also eager to help. My boss is engaged and willing to help problem-solve.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
This is more of a personality thing. I don't think I'd be very excited to go to work regardless of my job! Sabre is doing nothing to make me dread work.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I see an effort to consider the well-being of each team member. Work from home flexibility has been huge for my work/life balance. The PTO package was a big reason why I joined Sabre.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
As a whole, the culture at Sabre is inclusive of people from all backgrounds. As a global company, I think Sabre does a good job supporting people from different religious and cultural backgrounds, as well as the LGBTQ community.
