I still believe in Sabre, its just became more corporate organism recently than a place where actually ppl matter. And I get it, but without ppl sabre won't get far in the big plans we have, and I really would like to see it thriving again. Not really sure how many ppl will be strong enough to stay.
What are some of the best things about your team?
they are professional, devoted and supportive.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
the huge differences treating ppl and their wages; chosen ones having promotions and raises, others IF promoted, with tiny differences at the same time giving more and more respons. and duties. big gaps between market and us, attitude"no point giving raise, he already does everything for less".
What are some of the best things about your team?
we are united, we help each other and always are there for each other. we do what is possible and more to deal with everything, we support each and give ourselves praise even when noone does. we are committed, devoted, even when often not appreciated, noticed and sometimes very tired.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
people, they are the best. not leadership, just regular people and how despite all the obstacles they still care and try and do what they can with hope they will finally be able to work without stress with the feeling of security again. their dedication and solidarity, their talent, devotion.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am afraid, afraid what will happen to me today, tomorrow, I am unsecure. I feel underappreciated and at the same time have the fear there ate PPL just waiting for any misstep I take. PPl are tired, despite they still believe in this company, they are getting really tired.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
need to treat ppl with more dignity, as partners not numbers, need to be more transparent and not only listen to problems but actually hear them. They need to understand ppl wont care about sabre cause they will force them, they need to feel appreciated, THEY work for sabre results, whaif they stop?
