Sabre is a great place if you want a team culture. This team culture can create a very slow decision making process. I believe the slower decision making is a good sacrifice as opposed to a toxic culture. I have never had to deal with a toxic leader here.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
High performance is not rewarded. This includes those who are rated extremely high during annual talent reviews.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team cares for each other. While everyone is remote, we still execute at a very high level and ensure that everyone feels supported.
What makes you most happy at work?
Achieving things at scale. Everything Sabre does is at scale. Seeing a project or feature deploy across thousands of customers globally is very fulfilling.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is very approachable. They maintain great relationships with their teams. Analysts/ junior team members are regularly presenting and conversing with our most senior leadership.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have a team player culture. If you aren't a great team player, you will not be around for long. I love this because it reduces the number of people who are rude and just self-centered.
