Been with Vertafore for 6 years since the relocation from WA to CO. Worked up through 4 different job titles through that time and several different teams. A lot of problems have been solved to make work easier.

Independence to work on projects and investigate solutions. No micromanagement. Trust between manager and coworkers.

I like that the leadership team is flexible and open minded about a hybrid work schedule and work-life balance.

Work life balance. Hybrid work schedule remote and in office. Having quiet office to focus on work while most other employees work remotely.

I think there are attempts to revive company activities for people to meet face to face and collaborate following the last couple years of work from home.

There are opportunities and discussions for advancement with my managers. Being assigned new duties. Training for additional certification. Trying new things at work, while still having a steady and familiar work flow.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I like coming to the office downtown a couple days a week. It's nice to use the space because I do like the physical environment of the office setup. As far as culture, it still seems a work in progress following remote work. My team is active in trying to meet in person occassionally.
