I was at the company for over 2 years as a contractor, then hired on full time. I have seen the company's culture change for the better during this time. It went from a place I couldn't wait to leave, to a place I am proud to be at permanently.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing about my team is that we all respect each other and work towards a common goal, while also having fun chatting together.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The Flex PTO is my favorite part of my compensation package. I never have to worry about having enough time off for things like appointments, family emergencies, and vacations!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I really appreciate that our leadership team cares about employees as people, not just assets. We are regularly asked for our opinions about new processes or policies, and concerns are always addressed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture of flexibility that is emulated from the top - down. I see my senior leaders taking time off for various reasons, and it makes me feel less anxiety about taking time off myself.
What are some of the best things about your team?
This is truly the best team I've ever been a part of. We all work incredibly hard, but also care about each other as people. Whenever someone is out for a period of time, whether expected or unexpected, we all pitch in to cover them without a single complaint.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If I had a clear path for advancement, with actionable goals to get there, I would feel better. Currently, my manager said "I don't know" when I asked if there was a sort of next step I should be working towards. I feel stagnant in my position and salary because of this.
