I use to work at Hamden, CT Seven-Eleven and I quit today. I have worked at that place for about 3.5 years and during that time the owner has changed once. The owner right now is one of the worst owner's i have seen in my life. His wife doesn't know how to respect employees and she called me a thief
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
EVERYTHING. Especially OWNER needs to be changed.
What are some of the best things about your team?
All the coworkers were nice and one of the employees took my stand when the owner was not being fair to me and was supporting his wife.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I left that place so i don't want anything. I just want you guys to take some actions against that owner. His wife called me a thief like seriously, i have been working for you for three years and no one has ever called me that.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
I'm sorry but they need to train new owners how to run the store. Every other day owners wife disrespects someone and that person leaves the job. There are many problems in the store i use to work but being disrespectful to employees and making a scene in-front of the customers is not right.
