Unhappy, because I refused to work nightshift by myself. Manager kept forcing to work to much, and when I told the truth about poor management, she moved me from full time position to part time and threatened me that part time can be 1 shift bi weekly. I started working with 7 eleven since 2014.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Few team members willing to help each other more than complaints of other people unlike management staff
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Keep enough staff to stop shoplifting. Group chat should be about development not just to complaint of night shift
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The manager and assistant manager need to work better during day shift and afternoon shift, not just complaining about night shift. If I saw we are getting more shoplifter during one person working in night shift, I should not get moved from full time to part time position with disrespectful talk.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I mostly worked night shift. I never got state holiday pay for full shift. No matter I work night before state holiday start or on state holiday. Company should pay for 8 hours of state holiday overtime pay to all shifts. I found 4 times mistake in my last 6 months of pay.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I was told to do night shift with 2 people staff and later, I was forced to do night shift by myself. When I refuse to do it after extra work load, I was moved from full time to part time position. I will say, manager should clear this about staff cutting during interview.
