My experience within my team has been ok, but the company as a whole is awful. 100% white conservative men at the top. Do not care a bit about people. Stuck in outdated military mindsets that limit company growth and send the best people packing within 1-2 years. Turnover is insane.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview process was a breeze. They hire who they like. I was barely asked anything about my actual skills.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive thing about the culture is that there are always opportunities to try new roles and move teams. Due to turnover. But still.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
There are a lot of high quality people but they never stay long. There's no reason to when you could get better pay and benefits at a company that actually cares about their people.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership team needs to be diversified. They don't care about people and they don't listen to any of the feedback or data presented showing them what employees are asking for (i.e. decent benefits, work-life balance, hybrid work options, etc.)
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm a manager and don't even make the mid range salary for what my job grade was as a specialist. Meanwhile the male manager on my team makes a solid 30-40k more than me and contributes the bare minimum.
