When I began working for the company I was not certain I would stay due to training issues. I did not feel the training was sufficient. Once I worked within the organization for a period of time, I decided to continue to seek out additional training and support, which helped me succeed.

We are collaborative, supportive, resourceful, and respectful.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I believe they have all employee's best interests in mind when determining what is best for the company.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I am supported by the individuals within my department. I have the opportunity to express myself within my role and receive timely feedback. I am valued.

What makes you most happy at work?

The ability to do my job knowing I am supported. If I have concerns or questions, I have support. I also have the ability to grow and move throughout the company, if that is what I decide.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I enjoy the company very well but feel the pay scale could be improved. I realize this company is a non-profit; however, to remain competitive and retain great employees, the scale needs to be one that refelcts living wages.

Adelphoi offers a supportive, team-driven environment that embodies the spirit of holistic care for both clients and staff. The organization truly cares about its employees and does a great job of inspiring those individuals to bring their best each and every day.

Working at Adelphoi has been a positive experience. I was able to obtain a master's degree using the President's Fund. Something that I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise.

I am committed to the company's mission and to what my individual role does to advance it. I'm not sure though that my position is valued within the larger organization, and there is nonclear trajectory for advancement in my position. I wish there was more time for positive feedback.
