I love getting to come to work and helping kids that need help. My unit director is in my opinion the best unit director. I have been with the company for years and enjoy what I do.

I get to help kids that are in need of help and guidance.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I enjoy my coworkers and I love getting to help the kids that are in our care.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My unit director cares about her employees. I can go talk to her about pretty much anything and she will listen.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all get along and share the workload. Everyone helps out and interacts great with the kids. I couldn't ask for better coworkers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
At times I do feel undervalued but at other times I do not. I feel like my unit director definitely appreciates what I do but I am not always sure those higher up value what floor staff do especially those of us that continue to stay after being here for years. I also think we could be paid higher.
