I have had an overall good experience after working with Adelphoi for over 3 years. My experience would be better if the culture transitioned to focusing on more positive feedback than negative feedback as that is what the direct care employees are taught to convey to the youth in our care.

I enjoy counseling the youth I work with. I feel great after having conversations that seem to have improved the quality of the youth?
What are some of the best things about your team?
Commitment to always do better and make improvements even when our unit is stable, functional and getting the children the treatment they are here for.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
New hires have the opportunity to make a higher hourly wage than some employees that have been working with the company for years. Some of the senior employees have many trainings and valuable on the job experience, however do not make much more than a new hire.
