Briefly describe your overall experience at your company

My overall experience has been a love-hate relationship. I love technology, but I hate corporate politics. There's an abundance of both at Asurion.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Technology focused. Not petty or virtue signalling.

What makes you most happy at work?

Getting my hands dirty with complex technical challenges.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Annual adjustments based on current employee market value

What do you like best about the leadership team?

When they dedicate their time to technology - they are amazing.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Helpful, cohesive, eager to assist, eager to learn and eager to improve

What makes you most happy at work?

accomplishing cutting edge technological implementations, ahead of it being common IT practice

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Feigned concern with current social events as long as it grabs attention while trampling other talented employees

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

prior to "diversity" being the headline news, team members worked side by side as equals because we all shared a common appreciation and interest - technology excellence

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Flexibility for working at home as a mutually beneficial arrangement. I don't have to waste my life away in traffic jams and Asurion gets more work-hours out of me on a daily basis.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I've been at Asurion for quite a while. While my salary has seen marginal increases over the years, my 'market pay' is low due to being bound by a max annual percentage increase (usually 3% or less).
