they set up time ongoing calls to communicate company news to employees and seem to care about employee well-being.

Working on projects that impact the company business goals and are appreciated by peers and those above my 'grade level'.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company tries to promote diversity and inclusiveness, they also try to promote a work-life balance, and try to offer ways to make the work environment 'fun'.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
employees should be offered the chance to have equity in the company. Bonuses are great but perhaps offering the option to get part of your bonus in the form of equity/stock would be par for the industry. I would compare our industry to that of tech firms.
