What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Community of friendly, technical professionals willing to share knowledge.

What makes you most happy at work?

Knowing that I'm making a difference and having influence on the strategy and enablement of the company.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The technical expertise and willingness to help. When there is a big project, it's all hands on deck and everyone performs at a high level.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership operates in a silo. They develop strategy without understanding or consulting the people who work the day to day. It feels like change in technology leadership has led to less transparency, less communication, and thus less engagement/involvement from Director and below.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Seeing peers in similar job roles at different companies make more money and get promoted faster for doing less work and having less responsibility. Asurion's compensation for technology resources have typically been lower than that of competitors in the Nashville/Brentwood/Franklin markets.
