Asurion is my favorite place I have ever worked. Particularly how much the company helped and flexed during the pandemic. I feel more valued and communication from the top of the company has improved. I feel invested in the company mission more than ever.
What makes you most happy at work?
The constant challenge and change. I am never bored and there is always something new to do and challenge me.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Since the pandemic I have really enjoyed the transparency and regular executive updates. I really appreciate hearing Tony talk on a regular basis, as well as the great information shared during those sessions.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is very busy but we are all working towards a common goal. People are focused and helpful. I've noticed an increase in collaboration and engagement since working from home during the pandemic.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
With the influx of new companies in Nashville and the rising cost of living in the Nashville area, combined with the growth of the company, I think salaries in general are lagging behind. We have had trouble getting candidates to accept offers as well.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Since the pandemic I feel closer to our teammates. We are literally seeing into their homes and lives and I think we are all seeing each other as not just co-workers but co-people. It leads to a more compassionate and collaborate environment. I hope we don't lose that with back to office.
