Asurion – The people I work with are always great, across multiple teams. The exception to this is the more legacy teams that work very closely to the insurance side of Asurion. Those teams are unhelpful at best and mean at worst. the higher leadership (VP and above) is also not great at moving at a good pace | Comparably

What are some of the best things about your team?

We can talk socially, and about non-work things.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

High salary, and decent bonus

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

already stated, but again, slow down. we are burnt out. I recommend reading Atlas Shrugged if you want to truly understand how I feel about the direction of our company

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

stop breaking the backs of developers. Product doesn't listen to us, and we are demanded to deliver too much in too little time. it's absolutely draining and demoralizing. Product managers and leaders act like they are better and have more power than us.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

actually listen to us, slow down. I cannot stress enough, we are moving too fast. I know companies only care about profits and shareholders at the end of the day, but this pace is absolutely unsustainable. we are losing devs left and right, and before you know it, YOU WILL HAVE NO GOOD PEOPLE LEFT.
