Benefits are great. Growth is stale. Senior leadership is good but not very engaging with Frontline workers. Most of my contact with leadership is through a Team Coach which can be a little tricky to manage.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like helping out techs. I look for teaching moments where I can pull from experience and teach something to our Techs.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I am work at home employee. Most of my interactions are through Teams. Most of my interactions on Teams are positive and nice.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most of the co-workers are hard workers and always willing to collaborate. But the leadership does seem to focus more on office politics than they do on productivity and efficiency.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Appreciating each employee and what they bring to the table instead of picking a favorite. I have been doing great in all the metrics but once I do great in one metric the goalpost seems to shift to align with team members the Coach prefers to put in a Leadership position.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay was not sufficient to begin with for what I do, and with Inflation factored in the pay doesn't go as far as it used to. I have constantly tried to apply myself and been a very hard worker. I am constantly looking to grow but my Team and growth have become stale as of recent.
