I have been with Asurion for 18 years, working in multiple areas of the company. I have learned so much here because of the responsibilities bestowed on me and am so grateful for it. I feel like I could run circles around peers at other companies given the breadth of experience I've had at Asurion.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have been at Asurion for 17 years and have grown my career and breadth of experience over those years. Due to our exponential growth, I have been fortunate to grow alongside the company and our services. I've also been able to work in various functions and gain broad experience across the board.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is smart, competent and fun. We work very hard but we also enjoy one another's company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Engaging with teammates, helping team members grow their skills and get promoted. I love solving problems with co-workers.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My salary is very competitive, and we also receive a healthy bonus each year if we hit our targets. I also value the stock options the company provides.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are approachable, and I can reach out to them any time. I do not feel like there is any sort of boundary between me and the leadership team.

My salary is very competitive, so having stock options and a healthy bonus / incentive plan feels like icing on the cake. That, combined with a flexible work-from-home environment are the two most important things for me.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
All ideas are welcome. All people are welcome / diversity is highly valued. We have also gravitated towards a more casual and more vulnerable work environment as we have navigated the pandemic. Working from home and having flexibility is a huge benefit.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is not only passionate about driving value for the business and our customers, but they are invested in the people and talent in our organization. The pandemic has made this abundantly clear. I've been so proud of how Asurion has navigated through the past 18 months.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is smart, supportive of one another, funny, and very driven to achieve our results. Going to work each day - I know I will learn something new, connect with a teammate, and very likely laugh out loud during a meeting. We work hard, but we have fun doing it.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with, and the culture we work in. I bring my whole self to work - barking dogs, workout clothes, etc - and I feel completely seen by my teammates. I love solving problems with my teammates - interacting with them is the best part of my day.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are a "yes" company. "Yes" we can do that, "yes" you can go work in a different department, "yes" you can try out that solution. If you have a good idea or are passionate about a topic - there is nothing to stop you from pursuing it. I never worry that we won't be able to solve a problem.
