Barracuda's leadership team is good at making sure we stay relevant.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People are willing to help each other out. Also flex PTO is 10/10.
What makes you most happy at work?
I know that the things I'm working on have a direct impact on our customers. I'm making a difference.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Barracuda is the only place I've ever worked where everybody I work with is smarter than me. I like that.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know that I am making the bare minimum for somebody in my position. Unluckily for me -- I really enjoy the work I do here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
For the most part, people are willing to band together to solve issues. I never feel like I'm on my own when I hit a road block.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is transparent about what our goals are as a company, what our progress is in attaining those goals, and what the plan is moving forward.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love that we strive towards automation and scalable systems. We work with current, or sometimes bleeding edge, technology. It's satisfying to deploy something you didn't copy from stack overflow.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The last compensation adjustment I received came out of the blue. The reason was that I was making less than the minimum that they would offer a new hire. I love the culture and the work at barracuda but my family suffers for it.
