Working at Barracuda is a mixed bag. The people are great, our mission is great, and much of the product is great. The pay and benefits aren't great and some of the decisions being made are questionable. I think we've got an uphill battle to climb and I'm not sure we're going the right direction.
The people around me are positive and we all enjoy each other.
Having positive conversations with customers and truly helping them keep their organization safe.
Everyone is collaborative. We are all competing with each other but we're all each other's cheerleaders too.
I would like to be paid more in general. With rising inflation should be rising wages. Instead the opposite has occurred.
Everyone enjoys each other. People truly try their best to collaborate and be supportive. The employees have created a positive work environment.
It feels natural. It feels like we're welcome to be ourselves while moving business forward. It's a fun, hard working, accepting environment.
Positive interactions with people. Whether coworkers, management, partners, or customers. People that enjoy their work, believe in what they're doing/selling, and customers that trust us all make me happy and make my work enjoyable.
The leadership team has tried to create a positive work culture where everyone likes being at work and is close with their colleagues. Some of this culture has begun to change but it's still a positive place to work.
The multipliers for sales definitely offers a strong incentive to meet and exceed our numbers. I do think that the base and the regular commissions could be a bit higher but the multiplier makes up for that to a degree.
From the top down I believe when I'm told that the company cares about us as both people and as professionals. When they say they care about my family and my growth as an employee it comes across as being genuine and, to this point, actions have followed words.
