I really enjoy working here. The culture and work/life balance makes it a nice place to be. I still feel underpaid which makes me feel undervalued, but overall I have had a positive experience.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is small and tight knit, we have a great rapport, and are always willing to step in to help one another should the need arise.
What makes you most happy at work?
I have control of my day-to-day without being micromanaged. I'm able to use my skills and experience to run projects in a manner I find most efficient.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
It's appreciative that they're open to meeting with people and taking feedback seriously. I like that the exec team is mostly open door and engages with the rest of the company on meetings, projects, and initiatives.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I make about 45k a year less than the average of a person with my unique blend of skills and experience; I've often gone above and beyond to help shape the PMO and I'd like my salary to be brought to a competitive salary.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
A positive aspect is a continual push towards process improvement. The company wants to be on the cutting edge so the tools and processes we are using are evaluated and brought up to better standards as well as how we do things as business needs change.
