It's been a good experience, but the pay could be better. A large portion of employees would feel heard and appreciated if remote work was allowed on a regular basis and not so taboo.

They drive the company in a positive direction, and seems like they make smart business decisions.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Insurance is expensive, pay is not even close to commensurate w/inflation & competition offerings. Remote work would be a huge benefit, at least a hybrid schedule. Would save time/money for employees and many times provide a calm environment to accomplish focused work w/out constant interruptions.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I like my job, but it doesn't excite me. My vocation is a means to an end. I am excited to have income that supports my family and allows us to achieve personal goals. There's more to life than work. Work is the fuel for the Needs-and-Wants machine.
