Bell has been gracious to offer me 2 wonderful positions so far. I love the people I work with at the company. I do wish that Bell was more fast-paced and that we built more in-house/on-site. As long as pay increases over time, I don't see me ever leaving Bell. It is a wonderful place to work!
What makes you most happy at work?
Accomplishing tasks that help us achieve milestones and be successful. I also love learning new things each day!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like how they keep the culture here at Bell. I do appreciate the communication that happens as well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The laid back, T-shirt and Jeans is great! People here are proud of the company and want to represent the company. I love the level of respect people have for one another as well and that education is valued.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is filled with enjoyable people that make work a fun place. My manager is the best there is. I've been in aerospace for 17 years and she's a rare breed. Her management style definitely makes coming to work enjoyable for me.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel valued by my management, but the pay does not keep up. The prices of everything in this economy continue increasing and pay adjustments are but once a year. It's less noticeable for those without families, but I have a wife and four kids. Also, the work I perform is higher than my position.
