I love this place. I look forward to walking in the gate every day. I believe the V-22 is the safest aircraft in the world when it leaves Amarillo. The parts shortages are dissapointing and I don't feel like management is able to do anything about it.

Supporting our Warfighter. Preserving American Freedom.
What makes you most happy at work?
The knowledge that I am helping contribute to the national security of our great nation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are a very tight nit team. I think we have the most cohesive team on the floor. We all care about each other both personally and professionally.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I think my direct manager is the best thing about my leadership team. I do not know enough about the other leaders at this facility to make an informed decision.
What are some of the best things about your team?
For the most part, everyone I work with on a daily basis comes to work with a good attitude. My coworkers are generally happy to answer any questions that one may have.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I think we are in the top 3 highest paid careers in my town. I also like the switch from sick time to personal time. I also think the vacation time is awesome.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The amount of support we receive from all of the managers is unlike any other part of the business I have worked in over the last 18 years. Our managers will go to no ends to help us out.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I like 2 things. First is the insurance. I know there are other plans that are better, but I also know that there are plans that are much worse than what we have. Second, I get to enjoy the Pension Plan.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
This is going to sound like I'm being a jerk, but right now the only thing assemblers on the floor are positive about is that key parts will be late and we will be asked to pull the schedule in to make the contract date.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
In one word, TEAMWORK. Everyone in procurement has the same goal. Get the parts here. And whether you are on the same team or not, anyone will help you out to get off the shortage meetings. Nobody up here wants to be on a shortage meeting.
