I started off as a mechanic for Line Crew. I then was promoted to Avionics Technician 1, and have loved being in Avionics. I am able to challenge myself, and still have the comfort of a great group of guys to teach me. Even though sometimes you might get overwhelmed. My coworkers are there to help.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to work on aircraft, engaging with my coworkers, and being proactive in day to day work.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership team brainstorms ideas to try and make work life better. It might not always turn out like they think, but they try none-the-less.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is awesome! We all are able to depend on each other for help, and engage in conversation without offending one another. We lift each other up, and believe in ourselves.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think we are paid a little undervalue with in the area. I also think that we are capable of handling more types of aircraft Civilian and Military with in our facility.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My coworkers make my job fun. I love being able to work on aircraft, and hangout with my friends at work. My Manager is very busy, but still has time to make sure we are doing good. My Lead is the best hands down, and the technicians that have experience are willing to show and teach you for growth.
