Early days were like an episode of Game of Thrones, but over the years it has come to be a pretty darn good place to be. I have had mostly good leaders and enjoy having leadership that I can trust. I think we are blessed to have such a large veteran component, especially in leadership.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have been with the company more than two decades and I have seen a lot of changes during that time, none of which as positive as when Mitch took over as CEO. I was preparing to leave until his appointment changed my mind. When Mitch took over, I knew we would go in the right direction.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I still get a pension.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I believe teh ELT is made up of sincere, honest, professionals.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is focused on making sure the warfighter has what they need, i.e. goal focused.
What makes you most happy at work?
I have a purpose and support from my leadership to make decisions and get things done.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is not about us. We are one team working on solutions to meet our customer's needs.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Comparatively, I think health coverage is decent; it is not the worst, but it is not the best either.
What makes you most happy at work?
I most enjoy the opportunity to make significant contributions using my strengths and experience while afforded the autonomy to do so.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think we are finally back to our roots of designing, delivering, and supporting aircraft that protect and save lives and finally dropped the social experiment of wokeness that plagued us for several years.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all work collaboratively, our personalities mesh well, and we all contribute. There are no slackers, whiners, high maintenance people, or egos on the team. Each of us has our strengths and we use them to help each other out.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our new CEO seems to be interested in getting to the truth of the matter, no matter how ugly it might be. Previous leadership only seemed to want to hear good news so anything unflattering, no matter how truthful, was discouraged.
