I was hired under questionable circumstances and given a chance to prove myself. I've been here 16 years and think I am well respected for my performance and workmanship. I don't think I would have been given that chance these days. I enjoy feeling relatively secure and not worried about layoffs.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are approachable and friendly. They don't make you feel like you are not important
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It's offered as some companies are taking it away or charging more. I appreciate the personal/sick time and vacation.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having work to do and keep busy so the day flows. The smiles and camaraderie between us that smile and enjoy having a good job.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are treated like we know our jobs and what's expected. Not, someone micro managing our every move. My supervisor now treats us with respect and doesn't make us feel like it's a horrible thing that we are sick. it's a nice change from previous supervisors.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I enjoy some of my co workers, there are some that are grumpy everyday and it brings down moral. We aren't as much of a team as we used to be. The ones I do enjoy smile and make you happy to be here among people you care about.
