Doi not low ball to employees. If you want to keep your best talent, you must respect them and pay them well.

I think that the best thing about my compensation package is the ability to earn a nice bonus based off the company's achievement of financial goals.

Better compensation around time off & more competitive pay

The compensation gap with the market can be offset in my case if replaced by experience. Projects are assigned to contracting companies first without involving employees from the lower levels of the hierarchy

There is a good culture of working together & support as needed

Having that team to work with and bounce ideas off of - those that understand what you do as they have the same issues. In our area, many do not understand what we do and make assumptions. Having that close team makes the days positive.
