    Our team is hardworking and fun! We are transparent about our mistakes and support each other to grow and achieve great results.
  • What is the best part about your compensation package?
    I am able to work from home, benefits are 100% covered and I am paid the market wage for the private sector, even though this is a non-profit.
  • What do you like best about the leadership team?
    You are allowed to be creative and fully own your work streams. Management is supportive of its employees. Expectations and integrity are high and taken seriously. The student and teacher-centric approach to what we do is also incredibly inspiring.

Code.org was founded in 2012 and its current CEO is Hadi Partovi. Since its inception 14 years ago, Code.org has grown to 512 employees.

Code.org® is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented minorities. Our vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science, just like biology, chemistry or algebra. Code.org organizes the annual Hour of Code campaign which has engaged 10% of all students in the world, and provides the leading curriculum for K-12 computer science in the largest school districts in the United States. Code.org is supported by generous donors including Microsoft, Facebook, the Infosys Foundation, Google, Omidyar Network, and many more.
