What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Bad Bad Bad Management as well as very very poor communication from management to employee.

What are some of the best things about your team?

The majority of us feel the same way about the unfair and unjust communication of Dillards workplace.

What did you like most about the interview process?

The promise of teamwork, we're all family. The positivness of how they pride themselves in treating every employee with respect, and how that is Dillards expectation for all new hires.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

They need to put an end to managers using bullying, belittling, threatening , lying techniques and use it as an excuse for bettering their Sales Quotas. They need to Practice what they preach.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

First and foremost Dillards as a whole needs to listen to their Employees. Not just their favorite employees, ALL OF THEM. Their managers need to be trained in Human Resources. And Sales Quotas for workers need to be a thing of the past.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

There is not a single manger in my store that i feel comfortable talking to to resolve conflicts or other Human Resource matters without being treated with such disrespect i end up leaving the office or sales floor in tears. They have no interest in stopping the bullying/treating us equally.
