My manager is a godsend, but the company is one of the lowest paying jobs here despite having to do everything besides returns, fed ex, and paper work from vendors.
What makes you most happy at work?
Besides getting paid, it's helping my manager and coworkers deal with a cashier shortage.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My manager and coworkers. They go the distance with including everybody in scheduling and work details.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was very casual. I wasn't expected to dress formally and got honest answers about the job.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Not getting paid less than almost everyone else would be nice. You're expected to do two jobs for the price of one.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Almost all of them are very hard workers and do everything they can to help cashiers. Being around is the most important thing, and almost all of them there excel at that.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My manager and coworkers always involve me when schedules are made. My manager even hires people for the register so I can stock more, which is nice when you're hired for that, but they use my previous experience on a register most days because people don't want to work 1st shift for low wages.
