What makes you most happy at work?

When I work with a coworker that makes me smile or the regulars that come in and make me laugh and smile.

What did you like most about the interview process?

There basically is no interview. Of you are willing to work for 10 bucks an hour and aren't a felon they could care less how qualified you are.

What are some of the best things about your team?

They are kind and try to do what is asked of them. We're all trying to do the work of 2 people while being paid to stand in front of the counter.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The entire idea that they understand is false. They only do things like that and post things publicly saying how strong we are and how much they care while degrading us to our faces.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

My immediate manager is an awesome guy. He tries to help us but as soon as someone above him comes down on us it feels like he sits back and watches. He is sent to other stores constantly to help when we need help ourselves.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'm an assistant manager and the manager directly above me makes twice as much an hour that I do. They should of course make more but not twice as much. Training needs to be changed to more hands on rather than sitting in front of a computer for hours. We need more than 2 people in a store at a time
