Management don't care about the associates, they hire to many so they don't have to give full-time hours to anyone but management.you can't make a living working for Dollar General. You can't get any kind of benefits. I wouldn't recommend that anyone work for Dollar General.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Actually having a interview would work. They just take what the can get. That is how desperate they are
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The only thing positive at that store is the customers period. Management don't care, co-workers are angry hateful empty shells. Just a bad store to work at.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management don't care and employees have stopped caring. This store would be a hard one to fix it has needed help for a long time now and has been forgotten or just given up on
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to the needs associates, management isn't the only ones that needs or deserves hours or benefits. When a employee is mistreated by management don't sweep it under the rug and act like nothing ever happened, stand by the one in the right, not just management.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I had a good team one that actually helped each other, ones that was a joy to work with. The next store I worked for there wasn't a team . It was a terrible place to work. The atmosphere, nothing but tension, there was nothing good about that store at all.
