Understaffed,under paid. Expected to do everything- wait on customers, assist customers, receive merchandise & stock it, check in vendors, recover store ( check products for expiration dates & pull to front of shelves to keep store looking nice, plus other duties when u open or close.

The friendliness of our customers.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work together as a team to keep our store up & running. We've had to do this on 2 different occasions when went 6 months, then 3 months with no manager.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Have one great store manager- but she's at another store, yet she is more than willing to listen to our concerns & help point us in right direction to get things accomplished.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Pay better wages, give raises when employee earns them, not on a specific calendar date. Cut down quantity on inventory received when store is already fully stocked & merchandise ends up sitting on floor creating safety hazard for customers & employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know that I give more than 100% to the company every day & should be paid accordingly to my hard work. I do things that are managerial & that 's not my title, & I don't receive compensation for this.
