There is no positive about my work environment. I'm actually surprised suicide rate isn't higher amongst DG employees
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leading the team. Maybe consider a happy employee is a good employee. They need to realize some employees have a home life that they want to be a part of also
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Don't make false statements about the job. And do yours. I spent over 2 hours at an interview because they did not read my resume before meeting with me. Totally unprepared
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We don't work together if we don't want to. If we are assigned to help someone we would rather not help we just don't do. Management doesn't care. As long as you're at work they are happy
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
every single box on a DG truck is handled by the loader that's a lot of boxes and running to keep up with company goals. I make about 35k annually.bring home after taxes and insurance about 23k a year. The CEO makes 34 million annually and never breaks a sweat.
