I like the job I do but, the company expects to much from the store managers. Stores do not have enough employee hours to help with everything that needs to be done in the stores. Managers have to work at least 48.5 hours a week and only get paid for 40. No overtime no holiday pay.

It was straight forward and relaxed
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all get along and work together to keep our store clean, stocked, and customer ready.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The district manager does not come to the stores as she is supposed to. She does not have any answers to questions about the job the employees have.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I work hard and do not get the compensation I deserve. DG is a billion dollar company and they do not pay fairly and are very stingy with store hours. This is why they have a high turnover with employees
