I felt as if "serving others" was never for employees. I always either had to serve the interests of corporate above me or bend to every customer, no matter the cost of dignity or self-respect.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There's an understanding that we are all struggling together, which is nice. Everyone tends to be nice to each other
What did you like most about the interview process?
I felt like I was told the truth about what to expect. There were no false promises, and I appreciated the honesty.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Actual communication from everyone. There's no reason the distribution centers should be putting undo stress on store employees and the amount of work that takes to correct their mistakes breeds tension between coworkers
What makes you most happy at work?
When people are more considerate of how long I have to work in a day and what all I need to take care of. A section that needs to be deeply recovered NEEDS it. Telling someone that they shouldn't have to do that doesn't get rid of the need.
