Get a backbone & deal with the real problems, not the perceived problems. People don't want to work hard when someone else is just standing there.
A couple of them seem to think they get paid to stand & hold the counter up. They need to actually do the work they're paid to do.
The company constantly cuts hours but expects the same work to get done, sometimes more work. I've been there 7 years. No vacation, no holiday pay, no insurance, no weekends off.
My manager is more concerned about his back room being clean than he is about taking care of the customer. You always have to go look for him if the customer has a problem. He is loud, curt, & sometimes rude. He says what he wants to say, then walks away.
