Easily the worst job I've ever had in my 10 years of working entry level retail and service jobs. Five different store managers in less than two years.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most of them do their best to stay positive and they all treat the customers well.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
There's no realism with how much work can be done in one day with the hours available, and stores get new stock faster than it can be put up.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am asked to do way more work than what I am paid for, and could find less a much less stressful job that pays either the same or better with another company.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Upper management needs to provide sufficient hours to get work done, establish an overnight shift for high volume stores,and offer higher pay rates for employees who do well in an effort to retain them.
