Just another corporation. I'll never understand why they hire 95% from outside when it comes to field management. Managers with nice stores obviously know how to work the DG m.o.
What makes you most happy at work?
This covid thing has turned us into therapists, grief counselors and punching bags. It's not fun anymore.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are definitely corporate. They know how to make money. Everything they do is all about the bottom line. Even when they're handing out a $20k check to a small town library. Smart.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
They give quarterly sales bonuses. Would be nice if they were a little larger though. Especially now during this covid nonsense. It's August and sales are still averaging 140% to plan. That's a crazy number!!
