As I expected going in but as a young mother very disappointed with no weekly scheduling of work days and time. Informed store management of my situation and needing day-care for my child but they do not seem to care about the difficulties of a young single parent.

No weekly scheduling of appointed work times. Not knowing one day to the next what your schedule is.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Each member is part of a team and are responsive to working with you and helping one another as needed.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If you are only being paid the state "minimum" for your work you can not feel "Valued" as an employee
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are a busy store and you keep active in work, the management of our store seems hectic and not well run overall as scheduling is often not completed before hand. However, even with that we pull together to make things work.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Your local store managers are ill equipped to manage employees effectively and appropriately. I am a young mother with a 1yr. old and have to arrange "day-care" for him while working. Not once has my management team been able to supply a weekly schedule of work times. I never know day-to-day !
