What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is no positivity here. Only management pushing off things to other employees.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Doing their job. Don’t manipulate employees into thinking they have to work a shift when it’s managements job to if no other employee is found
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I would like the store manager to start training new employees and not the other employees on that shift. Pay attention, put things in the correct place. Be kind. Better communication and better management.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because I am the only other person actually doing and knows how to do my job. their are 3-4 other employees that get paid only a dollar less than I. My store manager takes up to 50 hours.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I could write a book on how much is wrong with this company. Unless you personally have worked for DG, you wouldn’t even imagine what we deal with as employees. The pay is absurd and the rules and regulations are just sad. No employee discount, no benefit
