Friendly. Productive. Other than my manager who does not train or communicate well with the team makes for a scatter brained work environment.
Someone needs to come train our manager into being a more caring, less chaotic person. She needs communication skills. She needs to set up store meetings but says things like, I can only hold store meetings at 6am or 10 at night. Not during business hours.
I would train my manager to sit down with the employee and go over their application.. Ask them about what they know about retail and what the job entails, If this employee is willing to complete certain tasks, how they work in a busy environment verses non busy, etc.
