Creating unity across geographies and departments. We're all operating in silos and very much USA centric for most functions and Lab centric for innovation and fun, with little to no regard to the company actually being global.

There is a culture of fear from the top down. No one is ever doing anything right, without clear direction on strategy and not trusting those you hired to do what they are an expert in. Give clear guidance and guardrails so we can all align and stop the knee jerk reactions.

It was insulting when the company went public and only the executive team received share, regardless of how long you had been working (contributing) to the company. Sure there is a ESPP in place now, but shares should have been distributed more equitably. Lots of resentment about that on the floor

The company is very stingy with RSUs, and most of our competitors are far more generous. This is a key part of compensation in other companies, and it does not seem like something that DT prioritizes.

The team lacks energy, enthusiasm & motivation to be successful or creative. Budgets are small which is prohibitive. Motivation is low because there is no connectivity or collaboration. Enthusiasm is low because there are no clear goals or rewards.

People are not empowered to feel like they can do enough on their own without running everything up to leadership for fear it is going to be wrong. As a result, people get complacent and don't really focus on how to improve/change.

Stop hirinig ONLY recent college grads. There should be some experienced, seasoned people mixed in...that would be a win for everyone.

There is little collaboration. People will go silent vs. actually talking through issues to work towards a resolution. There is also a highly negative culture where minimal excitement is shared. Everyone seems quick to jump on anything that is wrong, even though very small.

Less reaction to everything, better strategic alignment across the organization to help push consistency. People are fearful to make a decision for it being the wrong one, empower leaders to do their jobs more effectively. Stop rewarding negative, non-teaming behavior.
