Best overall experience would be seeing the company grow from where it started. A lot of start up companies are very suspicious but golden hippo as maintained its value to its employees and has grown so much. Its nice to grow with a company, I just wish there was more career growth on my end.

That the company pays for our benefits. It helps a lot.

Unlike other leadership teams, ours is very personable. I can go up to anybody at the company and not feel intimated.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have a BIG golden hippo culture. Which is nice to have a company that has an identity and that you can be involved so effortlessly.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Diverse team with multiple skill levels. We all balance each other and have open communication. Whenever there is an issue or someone needs a helping hand, there is a lot of support.

The best thing about my team is the diversity and open communication. I am able to feel comfortable and talk to all my team members and any team member in the company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the leadership team because its strong group of women that are on the top. Also its nice to have open communication with the leadership team as well. A lot of companies are usually very hierarchy based.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Work life balance. I am able to perform better at a remote work environment because I feel like I have more control of my time. I am able to focus on my goals and turn on/off who I talk to or who talks to me.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like I am undervalued because I have been asking for a promotion for almost a year and nothing have been evolved from multiple discussions. I have shown my growth as well as my skills and I wish there was more solidified plans implemented or charismatic shown when I ask for career growth.
