Recent Reviews About Huntington Ingalls Industries

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Most are light- hearted about difficult situations and stressful days. Making the overall 10-12 hrs seem less than it is.

Our boss equips us with training and the tools we need, then stands back and lets us do our job, but is available if we need support.

We are working from home now, so I enjoy the flexibility that comes from that.

What are some of the best things about your team?

More on-the-job training would be nice; remembering to work as a team is sometimes an uphill battle. And lastly, the amount of meetings we have to sit through is ridiculous, especially if the information being put out could have been an email.

Everyone has different strengths and we are teamed to complement each other's strengths. We work well together.

We communicate well and have similar goals, making it easier to complete tasks.
