Overall, ICON is an amazing company to work for. They are currently in the process of making adjustments to make customers and employees more satisfied. They care about their employees and want what is best for them. I can tell there have been some growing pains but I think every company has them.

ICON is changing in a positive way. Sure, it's a 40+ year old company with a history, but they have proven they can innovate to not just stay relevant, but lead the industry. I am seeing first hand that ICON is innovating as an employer with the goal of being the best for their people.

The executives are all family and friends of the CEO, so you must do what they say all the time, even if you know the company could thrive if we took a different direction. That makes it frustrating. Employees are generally taken care of though. I like to call it the golden handcuffs.

I have only worked at ICON for a short time but I can tell that my manager and supervisor really do care about me. They want me to succeed in my position and will do what it takes to make sure I am satisfied with what I do every day. They don't only care about my work life but my home life as well.

The leadership team is experienced and has lead this company through countless market and economic changes. They have managed to make ICON the largest fitness equipment company in the world. That is leadership.

There is so much trust within the office from the leaders and it is empowering. I want to do good at my job because I know they trust me to.

There are areas where there are some organization that could be improved. Other than that, everyone is great. My co-workers are wonderful. This is the first company I have worked for that I haven't met the CEO, however. I've had a plethora of jobs and have always had personable CEOs.

Management doesn't bug you too much as long as you get your work done. This is important and a lot of companies don't see that. This type of environment gives people the sense of trust and a good level of personal responsibility. I love it.

The same reason as in my previous answer. I can work at my own pace 90% of the time. It makes me want to be here. I always take care of everything I need to. If I need to get my son from school or take him to an appointment, it's never an issue.
