There is no clear path for career development and opportunities to grow. There is no mentorship program. We are just busy in releasing product and upgrades. People development is at the core of the company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
High health insurance premium. No bonus plan.
What makes you most happy at work?
That I have work and a job.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Everyone works in silos. I feel left out majority of the times.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Train Mangers to lead the employees better. Team health and dynamics directly correlated to quality of the product.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They keep the communication channel clear. I always how imprivata is doing overall as a company. They are very approachable.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I haven't gotten promotion in 5 years. There is not much growth opportunity. I am not leaning ot growing as a software engineer.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company environment is good. It is just the people and manager I am working under does not follow the culture of the company

The rest of the company is good and positive at least from my interactions. It is just the team i am in does not have the same culture as rest of the company.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Some coworkers always complain about their boss. Some are frustated and over worked or may be don't know their role in the team or may be being more technical everything gets dumped on them. Not a good environment to work in.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Better culture. Calm boss. Not someone who cannot control his emotions when things are not going right. Someone who is not publicly rude in meetings and insults when other people don't get a point. Would like to have a manager in presence of whom i can talk my mind instead of walking on egg shells.
