We need to do better at making people who join via acquisition feel recognized, but overall we do a good job of adding great people, which contributes to a great work envinronment.

Becoming an employee via acquisition, the initial phase was rough, in that we lost several people, and even more that the sales of our product were not prioritized. People actually did not know how to sell the product. Things have improved on that front quite a bit in the last couple of years.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think they do a great job with new hires, hiring at market value, but I think long time employees can at times be relatively underpaid.

They communicate our goals clearly, and consistently. When we alter course, they provide good explanations so that everyone has an opportunity to ask questions and to buy in.
