Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I work with a team that is mostly offshore. I am the only member of the team based in the U.S. There is a bit of a language barrier at times, but it is workable. There is also a significant time shift with some of the offshore employees, which can be a challenge, but we work it out. All is well.

It has been challenging, but in a good way. There is always someone to ask when uncertain about how to tackle a particular problem. Great teamwork, Great attitude. Friendly coworkers.

Everyone is willing to provide advice or knowledge when asked a question from a coworker.

Everyone chips in. There is sufficient education, mostly voluntary but almost always worth taking. Very friendly atmosphere.

Comprehensive training for my position, which is a welcome change from previous positions I have had in the past.

Learning new things, accomplishing things that I haven't previously done, and having the opportunity to continue to hone my skills.

It features everything I typically look for in a compensation package, plus attractive bonus items that I have never heard of before.

I work remotely, but the team makes me feel as part of the team, despite never having met any of them in person.

They are open and transparent, inform the rank and file about important issues whether negative or positive, and have open communication about company direction.

Communication of goals and objectives. Understanding that employees also have lives to live. Frequent polling regarding whether a particular objective reasonably fits within the timeframe given.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
There is an automatic medical insurance deductible split, where the company pays the first half (with no paperwork) and the employee is responsible for the second half.
